Dear Colleagues,

As a community committed to the welfare of others, Urology and other medical specialties embrace the need and opportunity to advocate for positive change that will lead to a better presence and a brighter future. The goal of UROLOGY FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY is to bring together our extended community to:

  1. Learn more from each other and experts in the field regarding the nuances of these social topics
  2. Discuss approaches to being effective leaders for social change, through dialogue, advocacy, and activism

Urology

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Urology
Gender Equity in Urology

The world belongs to our children. We would invite you to bring your children and young adults if they would like to lend their important insights into our discussions. Each day will have a 2–3 hour mid-day break to allow for wellness, family time, or informal continuation of the discussions with new friends and colleagues. Family-friendly social events will also be planned for Friday and Saturday evenings.

The meeting format will involve morning panel sessions that will draw together subject-matter experts from outside urology to complement our expertise within. The afternoons will take a “think-tank” format with rotating small group breakouts followed by a summary of ideas that are critical to these topics and can lead to meaningful action and change.
