New Study on Kidney Sparing Surgery

Recent findings published by Ithaar Derweesh, MD, and colleagues show that patients most in need of kidney-sparing surgery (partial nephrectomy) are still more likely to undergo a total nephrectomy, "even though kidney preserving treatment may be indicated."
